The Middle School B Baseball
team defeated Kings Ridge yesterday in a walk-off thriller! In the last
inning Graham Causby led off with a single, and Ryver VanGeest laid down
a perfect bunt to set the table for the Eagles. Riley Shumpert, who had a 2 run homer earlier in the game, knocked a line drive single to plate the winning
run. Gage Porter started the game on the mound going 2 strong
innings and RJ Westbrook threw 2 innings striking out 3 hitters and RJ also
added a double offensively. Bryson Brooks came in relief and got a big strikeout to shut down Kings Ridge. Cooper freeman chipped in 2 doubles and inky
Johnson, gabe Johnson, and Trey Wilson all made great plays defensively.
