Walker School

The fifth and six grade football Eagles won at home Saturday against a huge Walker team. Preston Jenkins and Angel Torres scored touchdowns for the Eagles behind a strong offensive line that included Carson Lim, Grayson Shea, Sam Hofmann, Michael Rouckowski, Dylan Kerley, Brighton George, and Owen Smith. The Defense held Walker for most of the game led by Major Jones, Payton OConnor, Logan Diggle and Colton Knechtel.

North Cobb Christian School

The MPC 5th and 6th grade football team continued their winning ways with a win over North Cobb Christian 30-14.  5 different eagles scored points, Carson Lim, RJ Westbrook, Ethan Litschke, Preston Jenkins and Angel Torres were all involved in scoring plays. The Eagle defensive line was smothering, spending most of the game in the North Cobb Christian backfield, led by Ryder Floyd, JoNathan Murphy, Eliot Weins, Gage Porter, Major Jones, Peyton O’Connor and Michael Rockouski. For the game winning drive, the Eagles turned to an offensive line that simply wanted it more led by Sam Hoffman, Grayson Shea, Michael Stubbs, Owen Smith, Michael Rockouski, And Levi Mills. MPC also dominated In 5th quarter action. Ezra Hewatt, Colin Galbreath, Maddox Wettmore and Gabriel Perry all had strong performances.

Mount Vernon Presbyterian School

The MPC 5th and 6th grade football keep their win streak alive with a victory over Mount Vernon  36-6.  5 different eagles found the end zone for touchdowns including Carson Lim, RJ Westbrook, Logan Diggle, Preston Jenkins and Angel Torres.   Eagle Offensive line dominated led by stellar efforts from Sam Hoffman and Grayson Shea.

The Eagle defense, led by Major Jones,Peyton OConnor, Gage Porter, Elliot Weins, Ryder Floyd, Jonathan Murphy and Colton Knechtel held Mt Vernon to zero net yards of offense in the first half.  Logan Diggle and Hutson Harvey also had interceptions for the Eagle Defense

Several 5th graders had impressive play including Angel Torres, Ezra Hewatt, Brandon Hubbard, COlin Galbreath and Owen Smith.

Mount Bethel

Ezra Hewatt, Ben Monteparto and Collin Galbreath all participated in scoring plays for the Eagles offense, which was led by stellar efforts on the offensive line from Chip Williams, Drew Bottoms, Joshua Reich, Maddox Wetmore,  Rush Alllison, Owen Morton and Patrick Purcell. The Defense was was stingy allowing only 2 first downs led by Brannon Hubbardt, Jake Clayton and Hutson Harvey.  Harvey was impossible to block, spending the entire game in the Mt Bethel Backfield. Ryver Van Geest, Ryder Floyd, Michael Stubbs, and Jett Fountain also recorded important tackles.

Whitefield Academy

MPC 5th and 6th grade football dominated Whitfield yesterday 28-8.  6 different eagles were involved in scoring including Angel Torres, RJ Westbrook, Preston Jenkins, Ezra Hewatt, COlin Galbreath and B en Monteperto.  The Eagle Offensive line dominated led by stellar efforts from Carson Lim and Michael Roukoski. The Eagle defense, led by Major Jones, Peyton OConnor, Gage Porter, Eliot Wiens, Ryder Floyd, Jonathan Murphy and Colton Knechtel held Whitfield to one scoring drive in the first half and didn’t allow a first down in the second half. Several 5th graders had impressive play including Brannon Hubbard and Owen Smith.

Preston Jenkins and Logan Diggle scored for the Eagles Offense, led by stellar efforts on the offensive line from Sam Hoffman, Michael Stubbs, Carson Lim, and Michael Rockouski. 

 The Eagle Defense was tough against the run with great efforts from Colton Knechtel, Gage Porter, Major Jones, Peyton O’Connor, and Hutson Harvey.  

 It was a close game going into halftime but RJ Westbrook intercepted a pass and returned it 90 yards for a score with no time left in the half.
